Counter CBRNe Operations Conference and Exhibition:

SMi’s well established Counter CBRNe Operations Conference will be held at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel and Conference Centre on the 2nd & 3rd February 2011. Following on from the success of the event earlier in the year, a total sell out and a busy and vibrant exhibition room, Counter CBRNe Operations will offer international delegates a unique experience over 4 very different days.

The 1st February will have an optional pre-conference site visit to the UK Defence CBRN Centre. Attend and observe a range of onsite training demonstrations used to train the UK Armed Forces. The 2nd & 3rd will feature high level briefings, panel discussions and group working sessions delivered by a range of international speakers. The 4th February will feature a lively workshops focusing on CBRNe Hazmat Response During an Economic Downturn.

The UK Defence CBRN Centre - 1st February The Defence CBRN Centre is a UK government facility based at Winterbourne Gunner in Wiltshire, south of Porton Down. It is a tri-service location and is responsible for all training issues relating to CBRN warfare for the UK armed forces. Bespoke CBRN training can also be delivered to entitled civilians and overseas students through deployment of External Training Teams or, through attendance at a centre delivered course. On the morning of the 1st February, delegates will have the chance to visit the UK Defence CBRN Centre.  Coach transportation will be available; numbers are limited.
