The UK’s government has proposed the essential role-out of smart meters for every home to take place in the UK by 2020. There has never been a project in the UK involving so much two way digital data. This data needs to be stored, analysed, regulated and secured effectively and this is where data management programmes need to be thoroughly considered and analysed before implementation.
