International Software Radio

6th to 7th June 2005, Jurys Great Russell Street Hotel, London, United Kingdom.

Real World Implementation of SDR and the SCA

8th June 2005, Jurys Great Russell Street Hotel, London.

This workshop addresses the challenges of implementing both hardware and software aspects of software defined radio. It starts with an architectural overview of a reconfigurable hardware platform, steps through the integration of an SDR software stack and addresses the implementation of the Software Communications Architecture (SCA). Specific challenges of waveform portability and using the SCA in demanding applications are addressed. A demonstration of an SCA enabled SDR completes the workshop.

Would your organisation be interested in running an Executive Briefing at a future SMi event?

Executive Briefings are interactive one- or half-day sessions which are attached to a specific conference and are run, on average with between 5 and 10 delegates, to explore a highly-focussed and niche aspect of the overall topic. Running an SMi workshop guarantees you one-to-one access with executives who have actively expressed a keen interest in the subject matter, giving you an excellent opportunity to promote your organisation to your target market. In addition, your company logo and promotional information appears on all SMi marketing brochures and web site. If you are interested in running an executive briefing or speaking at a conference, please contact SMi on +44 (0) 870 9090 711; client_services@smi-online.co.uk
