Utilising Associated Gas

Solving the Associated Gas Disposal Problem in Oil Field Development

associated eventsCommercialisation Of Gas Discoveries Remote From Infrastructure

overview

.

.

Dealing with associated gas can be costly and can make oil field development difficult.  This problem is most acute in deepwater and in remote locations

.

This conference will look at the technologies available to utilise associated gas.

.

Tax regimes make the flaring of gas increasingly uneconomical, and this, along with environmental concerns and the pressure to utilise dwindling natural resources effectively, is driving the development of new technologies to utilise associated gas more effectively.

.

As well as looking at the economic, environmental and political drivers for new technologies this conference will provide an analysis of some possible solutions and alternatives to flaring.

Why should you attend this event?

  • Understand the technical, economic and political dimensions for conventional solutions
  • Assess the implications of future trends in oil field developments and discoveries
  • Learn about the impact on future oil production capacity
  • Discuss the political, environmental, technical and economic challenges in remote and deepwater oilfield development
  • Understand the incentives for gas utilisation and the role of CDM
  • Learn what is needed for the creation of an enabling environment for investment
  • Debate the role of governments, MLA’s and companies in building gas gathering infrastructure
  • Assess the economic and environmental advantages of a variety of on- and off-shore technologies
