In its 12 years running, SMi’s annual Gas to Liquids conference has been riding out the waves of fluctuating oil and gas prices, changes in strategies and technologies deployed by a number of players, and most recently, the recession. And with good reason, GTL is coming into maturity – the proof – two large scale developments are said to go into commissioning during the 3rd quarter of this year!
With this in mind, SMi’s 13th annual Gas to Liquids conference will once again bring together industry experts to discuss the latest progress in Gas to Liquid projects and technologies. This industry has broadened up more than any analyst could have anticipated, making this event a must-attend for any organisation and business playing in the XTL field. |
Key focus areas for the event include:
- The economic drivers behind GTL – the pricing of oil and gas respectively; the continuing impact of construction costs; and the sleeping giant… unconventional gas
- GTL versus other alternative technologies – DME; XTL (CTL and BTL); and methanol
- An exclusive project showcase with development updates from: Pearl GTL; GTL.F1; Central Petroleum and NarKangan GTL
- And finally, rounding off the event, will be elements such as financing efforts, the end-user experience and the future of GTL
