About your Master Class Leaders

David Eydes is a Maritime Risk Consultant for ABS Consulting International Ports Team.  He was formerly an officer in a British military counter terrorist unit which had responsibility for assessing, advising and assisting UK partner countries in addressing their maritime security issues.

Since joining ABS Consulting, David has been responsible conducting audits of Ports for ISPS compliance and their specific security needs, and assisting them to develop appropriate security plans.  He has also has been integral to the development of the U.S. Coast Guard's Inland Waterway Maritime Security System.

David is also responsible for the development and delivery of ABS Consulting’s UK Department for Transport accredited maritime security training.

Johnny Franklin is a principle member of ABS Consulting's Security Risk Section.  A military successful career, an MSc in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management and being a Member of Business Continuity Institute provide him with a detailed understanding and experience of the issues associated with security risk and crisis management. 

This, combined with ABS Consulting's worldwide maritime pedigree and experience, has allowed Johnny to offer services that assist ports with their resilience and to implement best practices to ensure that the port suffers minimal interruption in the event of an incident of any kind.
