IFRS – Impact on UK PFI

Mazars

This half day MasterClass is designed to bring attendees up to date with the changing landscape in accoutancy practices for PPP and PFI in the UK. Focusing on IFRIC12 and the private sector perspective the workshop will discuss the affects that the move to International Financial Reporting Standards will have on all aspects of the UK PFI Industry and how businesses can best prepare themselves for the changes in accountancy procedures.

About your MasterClass Leader:

Paul Austin is a project finance director at Mazars LLP. He is an ACA qualified accountant with over seven years experience in PFI/PPP. He specialises in advising the private sector on emergency services, health and NHS LIFT schemes. In his previous role he built a template financial model used to support numerous bid submissions and over 30 financial closes. Having joined Mazars to establish a European advisory team, Paul leads on technical accounting advice for PPP/PFI.
